Directors

Directors should bring their laptops with them when they come to registration. You will direct the script assigned, with the cast you’ve been given. You may not add or eliminate any actors.

At 8:30 AM Sundday morning you will get your script and at 9:00 AM you will begin rehearsals with your cast. With the exception of your one hour rehearsal in the performance space and the full dress at 4:00 PM, you are responsible for finding available rehearsal space on campus. Some people rehearse in public spaces and others rehearse in the dorms.
NOTE: Accommodations will be made for Church services.

When you do your initial reading, please note any prop or cue (lighting/sound) requests. Your request form is due to the technicians in Theatre 320 by 1:00 PM. We will respond to requests in the dress rehearsal at 4:00 PM.

Actors are expected to memorize their lines – this is a lot of work. Actors may need breaks in the rehearsals to work on their lines.
